Why doesn’t Off The Path name the specific destinations they will take me to?
There are several reasons for this. Many of the villages we work with simply don’t want people wandering into their communities uninvited. Our group tours also vary based on many factors such as weather patterns, community needs, transportation options, group sizes and current events. Finally, if everyone knew where we were taking you, our trips wouldn’t be Off The Path.
Is it safe to travel to Thailand/India/etc.?
There are risks inherent to traveling anywhere but our experience in-country certainly helps to minimize them. Safety is our top priority and Off The Path is wholly unwilling to compromise that of our guests or staff. We amend our trips in response to current events and are fast to respond to any unforeseen incidents.
What do I need to do to prepare for my trip?
Shortly after you book your trip with Off The Path you will receive a check list of travel documents and vaccinations you will need as well as suggestions for what you should pack.
Will Off The Path book my flights for me?
For an additional fee, yes. Please inform us when you book your trip and we’ll be happy to help you.
